Check out this shiny new ambulance! Our club pitched in the final funding needed to provide ambulance service to a remote area of Kenya where the nearest hospital is hundreds of miles away. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Waxahachie for organizing this effort and including us!

 

Imagine riding 100 miles on the back of a motorcycle with a broken leg. Each bump jerks your leg causing excruciating pain.

 

Ambulance services in rural areas of Kenya can be spotty and hospitals hundreds of miles away. So we were proud this year to join with the Rotary Club of Waxahachie and other Rotary District 5810 clubs to provide ambulance service to one such spot.

 

The Rotary International causes of "fighting disease" and "saving mothers and children" just got a little easier and we are glad to play our small part!
